Welcome to Tri-County CAA

PROMISE OF COMMUNITY ACTION:

Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

Caring Adult Day Center

Our center is a small, state-certified program designed to provide out-of-home care for elderly clients who need some supervision.  In a safe environment, our activities are designed to provide social interactions, mental stimulation, and physical encouragement, as well as support services for caregivers and families.  A light breakfast, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack are served daily.  We occasionally go on outings.  There is at least one staff member for each five clients.  Staff members are trained according to state guidelines including aging, dementia, first aid and CPR so you can work, shop or relax with some peace of mind.

Although we are a non-profit agency, typically, we rely on grants and government funding to provide our services. Grant-funded openings are limited, but we will provide you with information to determine your eligibility.  Otherwise out-of-pocket expenses are very reasonable, and comparably less than childcare.

Located at 1015 Dispatchers Way in Buckner just down the street from Oldham County High School.       Open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm - Monday through Friday.  Closed holidays.                                                                Optional transportation is available in the AM and PM for a small fee.
